The 60 foot motor cat Ohana was built in 2014 by Horizon. She has been fitted with twin Caterpillar engines affording her a cruising speed of 18 knots and she tops out at 24. You and your guests can enjoy yacht charter vacations in the lovely waters of the Bahamas anytime of the year.
Her spacious salon offers a large U shaped lounge with center coffee table, along with a desk and breakfast bar. Out on the covered aft deck there is a large table with chairs for al fresco dining opposite a long lounge across the back of the deck. The flybridge offers ample space with two stool bar, Barbecue, and L shaped lounge with set in table. Her bow features sun pads to soak up the rays. here
A swim platform offers guests easy water access. Watersports offered by Ohana include a 14 foot tender for seven with a 70hp engine, water skis for adults, water skis for children, kneeboard, standup paddleboards, two tubes, wakeboard, floating mats, floating island, fishing gear including eight rods, snorkeling gear including underwater camera, and rendezvous diving.
Yacht Ohana features generous outdoor spaces with wide decks for socializing or soaking up the sun. The aft deck, adjacent to the salon, is shaded with an al fresco dining option and seating. Her flybridge and foredeck are perfect for sunbathing or relaxing with a cocktail, and the covered cockpit has a beautiful al fresco dining area.
The expenses are generally estimated at 35% of the base charter fee. These prepaid expenses are called Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. Any amount not used will be refunded to you at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceed the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. Each side of the cabin has three opening stainless steel portholes with pleated shades and decorative drapes with rope lighting in the soffit above.
Forward is a double berth cabin also with its own dedicated head and stall shower.
Further forward is access to the Crew Cabin with a laundry and a captain’s desk at the bottom of the stairs. To starboard is an over/under cabin with a private head and stall shower.
Immediately upon entering the Galley area is a Day Head to starboard. The Day Head has a china Microphor toilet, free standing vanity sink and two mirrors, the outboard one concealing a medicine cabinet. here
