I need to change the oil and spark plug myself a my 2000 SeaDoo. Can anyone help?|||No need to change the oil. It's a two stroke engine!
mjmik1; All 2000 Sea-Doo jet ski's were 2-stroke.|||well at the bottom of the oil resivoir theres a bolt you unscrew, and the oil will come out there, when its all gone, you can change the oil filter as well, just unscrew, and put in the new one, and put new oil in. for the spark plugs, your going to take off the wire on top of the spark plugs, you'll want a socket to take of the plugs, and put new ones in.|||make sure you gap the plug correctly (I think 28-32 thousands) [links]
To change the plugs, (there are two) twist and puul the wires off. Use a suitable socket, or an adjustable wrench will work, remove the old plugs and replace with new. Use NGK BR8-ES plugs. more
