It provides excellent multi-season protection against hard fouling growth like barnacles and zebra mussels, and is tough enough to withstand frequent trailering, launching and beaching.
The addition of slick PTFE affords protection against moderate levels of soft growth fouling like algae and slime - often encountered in warmer waters.
