Shade Pole kits from Birdsall Marine makes adding extra shade to your boat both economical and easy. The kit comes with two adjustable carbon fiber poles and necessary attachment hardware. The poles adjust from 52” to 91” in length. The pole portion of the shade will fit all rod holders from 1-1/2" up. The other end of the canvas shade is attached to your canvas top or fiberglass hard top
with specially designed stainless steel hardware. When the shade is removed only a small round disc the size of a quarter remains on the top. The pole hardware consists of a pulley & line cleat, all top quality.

The shade portion is made of “Weather Max 80”, A strong light weight material that comes in White or Oyster. All corners are reinforced to make your shade strong. These fishing rod gunnel boat flag poles are awesome! They simply sit in any fishing rod holder you have on your boat. I personally use 3 of these across the top of my t-top rocket launcher. Simple to put up when you're using the boat and take down and store when your not. We offer them in 4' and 6' only, this will accommodate up to a 3x5 flag. Flagpoles come with one set of clips and a bungee cord, to secure pole while running. They are nearly indestructible with zero failures with thousands sold.
I'm looking for a flag pole that fits into a boat's fishing rod holder. I found a nice one from Taylor however you have to bolt it in..
