This is a 2000, 30’ Aqua Chalet (Freedom 8122) Aluminum Tri-Pontoon Houseboat (also has aluminum floors) powered with a 50 HP Honda 4 Stroke w/ two new props (3.9 water miles per gallon of gas) with a 40 gal tank. The cabin is just like a RV Camper; i.e., it has the same type of head/shower/sink/ vent, same type of LPG furnace with a thermostat, 12000 BTU roof mounted Air Conditioner; 20 gallon black water tank with a rear clean-out (like a camper) and a topside pump out(like a boat) located in the aft storage area; new 30 gallon pressurized fresh water tank with outside outlet/inlet; Microwave, 2 Burner gas stove top; 6 gal gas hot water heater (auto start safety switch) also new control board and outside limit switches, double stainless steel sinks w/Pure Water Filter; lots of storage cabinets; smoke detector; LP Gas Detector and a closet for hanging clothes. It also has the more expensive pull down blinds for privacy at night. There is a 19” TV and a new smart Sony DVD Player that you can screen cast to with your smart phone. There is a great sound system with speakers outside and inside. There are 7 new double LED overhead lights. One is located on the rear deck with an AC outlet; two are located on the front deck (yellow insect deterrent) with two AC outlets.
This Houseboat will sleep two adults and two small children; i.e., the new leather couch folds down into a double bed and the dinette folds to a ¾ bed. The front hard top deck is 12 ft x 8.5 ft with two side gates, one swim ladder and one front gate. There is a 110 VAC 2 door refrigerator/Freezer (runs off of the power inverter when underway). It is bolted on to an aluminum table and side rail. The Helm has a (portable mounted) Lawrence LMS 527 Chart Plotter GPS and Fish Charter combination, a New Horizon VHF Radio with DSC, a new antenna and a new Digital Wireless Monitor for a new Wireless Rear Top Mounted Camera. The monitor is portable and can be placed in your pulling vehicle for a rear view from the boat when you are towing. The rear deck is 6’ ft x 8.5 ft and has a tanning bed (4”foam) top cover for a storage area that contains the 40 gal fuel tank, access to the Honda 50hp 4 stroke outboard and 2 new Auxiliary Batteries for the New 2000 watt Power Jack Power Inverter (also small storage area). There is a separate starting battery. The rear area also stores two ea LPG Bottled Gas tanks. There are two gates on the rear area with another swim ladder. There is also an external generator plug and switch. There is a switching relay installed in the power center transformer area that switches automatically. I removed the ladder that would lead to the top of the roof. It is available if you want to reinstall it. The roof was professionally recovered in 2018 by the previous owner (no leaks and no evidence of any damage). There is a wonderful new 2019 galvanized tri- axle trailer with surge brakes on every tire. The boat will stop like there is nothing behind your truck. There is also a spare tire. This is my 21st boat (I called it “Black Jack”). I have built and refurbished boats most of my life but, I am now 77 years old and my wife wants me to do a little RV traveling for now.
