This 1998 Bayliner 5788 Motor yacht appears to be in great condition and has been well cared for. The Man 600 engines have under 1200 hours on the meters and had all pistons and cylinder liners replaced at the 500-hour mark. And, the heads and valves were upgraded at the 1000 hour mark, with the injectors being rebuilt at the same time. The oil is changed annually, and there are auto fluid pump-outs to make engine maintenance easier. The engines have electric oil heaters instead of the stock block heaters for more efficiency. And, a freshwater engine flush hook-up was installed at the Sea Strainers. The Transmissions were serviced in 2020. The Bottom was repainted in 2020. The Watermaker onboard is a 24-volt model. In the lazarette, along with the 15KW Westerbeke Generator, is the battery bank consisting of 16 - 6 Volt batteries with a self-watering system. An upgraded 4kw inverter was installed to accompany the batteries. The engines are started by 2 8D batteries for the port engine and 8 - 6 Volt Batteries to starboard. The Bayliner 5788 Motoryacht with its flowing lines and distinctive pilothouse styling is built on a lightweight, fully cored hull with a 17'-2" beam that gives you a very spacious interior. A full wraparound lounge offers seating for your guests and the wet bar with fridge keeps your snacks and drinks close. The tender in the photos does not come with the boat, but there's a very capable lift to handle your tender needs. The pilothouse below is also a great place to drive the boat from and the bow thruster can be operated from either location. ( A third set of engine controls in the cockpit takes the worry out of docking the Bayliner.) The electronics package was updated in 2016 and includes both 48-mile color radar on the Raymarine HybridTouch units, as well as Raymarine autopilot. Aft of the pilothouse are the dinette and galley that's fully equipped with everything you need to live comfortably at sea, including a dishwasher and trash compactor. The salon is outfitted with remote control blinds, the television on a lift, which is connected to a Direct TV, and a Denon receiver. The wet bar is an awesome addition, including the built-in blender. Below decks are 3 staterooms and two heads. The shower in the Captain's head also has a nice size tub. With its queen bed, tons of wardrobe/drawer space, and comfortable lighting, you'll feel right at home in the Captain's Cabin. Just forward of the Captain's Cabin are the Washer and Dryer in the hallway, then the second stateroom with twin bunks and a nice size hanging closet. The forward stateroom also has a comfortable queen bed, good closet and drawer space with access to the forward head. Each stateroom has its own air conditioner for comfort. The stern of the boat has not been forgotten with features. In the ample-sized cockpit, not only are there docking controls but quick access to the generator and lazarette. This 1998 Bayliner 2855 Ciera appears in normal wear and tear condition. Hours on the motor are unknown. The seller reports the fuel tank has a leak and needs replacing. Be advised that the motor will need to be pulled in order to remove & replace the tank. During a recent water trial, the boat couldn't go over 3,000 rpm.
