Like the capacity, the number of choices on the menu is modest, but that allows Bar Termini to focus on exceptional quality drinks – of both the hot and cold variety. There’s also a small selection of sharing platters.
There’s no shortage of quirky Soho bars with a backstory, but Jack Solomon’s is one of the best.
It’s not cheap but it’s not outrageous, and it’s the kind of place where you can sit and sip your cocktail slowly, taking in the vibes.

Hidden beneath Covent Garden is London’s very own Garden of Eden, brainchild of feted London chef Adam Handling. This bar is full of temptation, indulgence and hedonism. With a huge list of inventive and beautifully presented cocktails, as well as some seriously stunning interiors, Eve is pretty close to being Heaven on Earth. [links]

This tropical paradise will whisk you away to warmer climes, especially when you’ve got one of their famed artisanal rum cocktails in hand. The decor is rather tiki bar-esque, but definitely on the classy end of the spectrum. Laki Kane is Polynesian for ‘lucky person’, and we must admit it’s a pretty apt name. Head along for your next night out, you laki thing. more

Taco joints might be ten a peso these days, but 2017’s greatest food trend remains fresh at this, the Barrafina-founding Hart brothers’ arch-based, bookings-free Borough taqueria. The vibe? Feel-good foodie fiesta, of course. There are starter plates of guacamole and spicy sopa de tortilla soup on offer, as well as a mini menu of quesadillas, but you’d be a maniac to miss the tacos. Best of all is the titular Al Pastór – with marinated pork shoulder, caramelised pineapple, guacamole, white onion, coriander – but the DIY beef short rib sharer runs a close second.
