This is my 5th time chartering through Bareboat Sailing. The boats are the best maintained of any I have chartered and I have been doing this for about 12 years. The checkouts and support from Brian and his crew are second to none. The boats are very well equipped, including chart plotters and radar. They also come with a dinghy and outboard. Like the boats they are always in good order…not necessarily a given in the charter industry. This 2-masted schooner is Amazing. The Alabama is a wonderful, beautiful boat that provided a beautiful evening here in Martha’s Vinard. The crew was amazing, we had a beautiful assortment of cheese and crackers on board, we also brought our own beverages and snacks to enjoy our sunset cruise. The entire experience from end to end was superior. We enjoyed ourselves very very much here

We loved our sunset cruise and listening to the history of the Black Dog… The son of the founder of the Black Dog Tavern Company explained the reason for the establishment of the Tavern and the tall ship sailing programs. All proceeds from sailing go to maintaining the ship and staffing. I loved it. The crew made it fun they were nice and down to earth. more
