Was running fine, then all of a sudden won't start. Engine cranks fine, have spark, fuel filter is clear. I pulled one of gas lines off that is connected to the first carb (duel carbs) near the diaphram pump? and don't seem to get much suction. A Vacuum hose from the engine to the carb looks fine, not cracked. I assume I may need a rebuilt card/new diaphram assembly that provides vacuum to suck gas from the tank, but want opinions before I go to work. Can anyone help me out - or experience the same problem?
As for vacume, those fuel pumps produce very little vacume and feeling it can be very subjective and maybe misleading a bit. But it is allways possibe that the fuel pump may need rebuilding too.

Blow back through that line to check to see if it is clear with the fuel selector valve in the ON and in the RES position. This will verify the fuel valve is not clogged up.
Then if you need to rebuild the fuel pump and carbs, do it FYI, if the fuel valve is clogged, so will the filters inside the carbs be clogged too. [links]
By pushing the start/stop button 5 times, you’re putting the DESS in advanced diagnostics. When you have successfully done this, you'll hear 1 short, 1 long beep then, put on the lanyard cap. The engines should start if everything is ok. [links]
1. Without putting the lanyard on, I press the start button: the ski beeps twice
2. I put on the lanyard, and then press the start button: the ski beeps twice (same as pressing the start button without putting on the lanyard)
3. Sometimes though, after I put on the lanyard and then press the start button, the ski beeps three times
To listen to the codes again start from the beginning.
Hopefully someone can help me. Any advice would be much appreciated. more

Welcome to the sedoo forum 1145climber. Try using soap and water to clean the lanyard and post. Here is some information on the DESS post and some tests to check.
I would start by cleaning the Post on the safety lanyard. It is beeping and saying it isn't connecting to the Mpem, (Multi Purpose Electronic Module) It needs to beep 2 times to let you know it is ready to start. Clean the post and cap with soapy water. Don't use any grease of lubricant on it as it needs a clean connection to make contact. Connect the lanyard to see if it is making a connection. 2 beeps and it's ready to fire up. here
Let me know in the comments of any other reasons you have had that has prevented your PWC from starting up.
I like to replace my Sea-Doo battery every 3 years, they get a hammering and can fail early.
Modern jet skis are equipped with anti-theft immobilizer keys. These are waterproof but occasionally they go bad. You should have a spare key or even a learner key, try that to see if your personal watercraft will start. here
Your spark plugs can be worn of have water or oil in the spark plug coil. Remove each coil and take out the spark plug. If it is all rusty and dirty just replace it they are cheap.
Safety lanyard on the switch; connect the probes to switch Black and Black /Yellow wires. Measure resistance, it must be “0” ohm. [links]
Sometimes the start key post will go bad. Check if there is corrosion on the post. Chean it and try again. These are simple to change out and are usually a two-wire job. here
