Alternate boat cover tie downs needed
I have a 20 ft Key West with a boat cover. I would like to use this cover on the boat when it is in the boat slip-normal tie downs will not work-nothing … here
Brilliant And Simple Solution WOW! I just got the EZ-Xtend Boat Zippers for my canvas and what a simple solution! Thank you for coming up with this. I am telling my friends about this product. Susan M.
but in your example, where did the guy fish his rope out from I can't assume he had it hooked to the cleat permanently, although I used to do that on my yami, i had a small sailing rope permanantly hooked to my front bow, then tucked under the hood, to save a little time, but eventually I took it off since 90% of the time i'm beaching my ski anyway. here
i should have asked the guy but i was too busy talking to a couple buddies.. is anyone familair with this? i tried searching the good ol' interweb and came up with net to nothing i havent tried already
for a while ive been using just a loop around the handle bars but i hear thats not really the "proper" way.. recently i saw a guy on a 4tec hook up a clip to one of the cleats on his ski and then quickly tie it off on the dock, seruously, it took like 15 seconds to tie his jet ski to the dock.. no loops around the bars.. no messing in the storage compartments to find the rope, then untangle it and then go to town on the cleats at the dock securing the ski..
you could save a little time by using a carabiner, here
but I've rusted out a couple of those as well, the water/salt destroys them rather quickly.
