The self-tacking jib kit makes flawless tacks and gybes possible as you don’t have to be in two places at the same time – handling the tiller and tacking the jib. It means you can concentrate on making a smooth turn and your direction – keeping your speed through the tack. You can even execute planing gybes. [links]
It comes complete with the new sail, track and hardware and requires no bolts to attach to the deck. There are two versions – one for older boats (1-1000) and the other for newer boats (1000+). Standard colour is white. Other colours can be ordered with new boats. Installation instructions here

A self-tacking jib makes life on board a lot easier, in particular for short-handed crews. The jib sheet is led to a car which moves to leeward during the tack with no need to touch the sheet. Tacking is as simple as steering the boat through the wind.
