Set Sail for Disaster is a Murder-Mystery Party wherein
the guests will take on the roles of Captain Michael Von
Ammon and his guests and staff and play as those characters
throughout the course of the event. At some point during the
evening, one of the guests will be “killed” by one of the other
participants, and the remainder of the evening will be spent
piecing together clues in an attempt to determine who the
murderer is. Food will be provided. Cash Bar available. $50.00 per person. Reservation is required. here
FYI this is a Cruise Themed Night but in Craig’s Cafe not actually on a boat.
Active and passive roles available for those guests who do not want to be in character. Active roles will have important information to pass along to other guests and passive roles can just sit back and enjoy as well as help figure out the mystery.

The prolific Carolyn Hart takes the locked room mystery to new heights in Set Sail for Murder, her seventh novel featuring senior sleuth Henrietta O'Dwyer Collins, affectionately known as Henrie O. A sensitive, sensible retired newspaper reporter/journalism professor, Henrie O agrees to assist her former lover Jimmy Lennox investigate murder attempts upon his wife, the wealthy but prickly Sophia. Jimmy is convinced that someone from Sophia's stepfamily wants to kill her because she stands between the children of her previous husband and the fortune they will inherit.In order to sort things out, the family, including an aunt who raised the children, embarks upon a luxury cruise that affords a forum for frank discussion of the situation. Secretly, Jimmy pays Henrie O's passage, so that she can employ her journalistic skills to avert disaster. Unfortunately, even Henrie O's diligent efforts are insufficient to thwart the machinations of an exceedingly wily killer. Ultimately, Henrie O's intelligence and tenacity enable her to uncover the surprising culprit.
Henrie O is an intriguing, complex character, with a sad past that includes the accidental death of her young son and the murder of her husband. Her romantic involvement with Jimmy is also rendered brilliantly, making Set Sail for Murder impressive on many levels. Hart is a writer who truly understands the human heart.
