I'm with Lance. We always use the playpen cover and cover the boat up unless we know we'll definitely be back later in the day or the next morning. I thought about seat covers but after thinking about storage, cost and then what I would really save in the way of time it just wasn't worth getting seat covers.

Most pontoons come with (or you can get one from the manufacturer or have one made) a 'playpen' cover. This covers the whole boat by snapping onto the rails. They are not always so easy to put on because you usually have to crawl under the cover to install the center poles that raise it in the middle.

I was reading some sites where they say we shoul never put a kid in a car seat wearing the winter coat because of safety issues when closing the straps. [links]
I wanted to hear your opinion about where I should beI investing my precious dollars: should I buy a winter seat cover (those that just leave the baby face out) or should I buy a winter suit and then cover the car set with a regular blanket when out? here
Anyone would have recomendations on this issue? Just to let you know I don't intend to ake the baby out for walks during the winter. This will really be for going out from the car to family's houses or doctor appointments. here
