2014 Sundance K16CC The K16CC is our center console version, our most popular K16 layout for fishing. The center console is set up for a top mount binnacle control, something you don't normally find in smaller boats. The short rear deck has an aerated live well with a high-speed pick up. A four switch electrical panel, aerator pump and automatic bilge pump are standard. The panel circuits are now protected with press-to-reset circuit breakers. We have added wire conduits glassed into the floor to hull edge for ease in pulling wires forward for trolling motors and other electrical equipment. The standard XL Front Deck is fully glassed and integrated into the hull with a commercial finish that matches the interior. The upgrade Yacht Finish Front Deck has a slick finished diamond non-skid surface. The standard front deck hatch has been increased in size on both Front Decks. Custom built double rod racks are mounted on both sides of console. The steering wheel is a 13" stainless steel wheel. The custom molded lexan windshield, the stainless steel console handrail and the front deck hatch are standard. The stern and bow light poles are stored in clips under the front deck. The helm seat is a 48 Qt. Igloo cooler with cushion. An excellent option is to mount a second cooler in front of the console on the CC model. more

I have noticed Sea Rays tend to fetch a bit more money than the comparable cruisers out there. Something to think about, and might be worth looking into a Sea Ray "style" cruiser. [links]

Sea Ray was an independent company until 1986 when they were purchased by Brunswick Corporation (who also bought Bayliner during the same period of time). They went through an adjustment period and some of their models shifted around including how the models were named. At one point, the numerical designation began to inlcude the swim platform as part of it's length. Might want to keep this in mind while shopping (a 270 one year, might be called a 290 in a different year etc).
The differences between the 25', 26' and 27' Sundancer from that era is quite a bit. The 25 and 26 are both 8.5 beam boats. The 25 has a dinette up front, galley, head and aft cabin. The 26, offers a berth up front, with a dinette off to port (big plus in my opinion!). The 27'er is a 10' beam boat, with a similar layout to the 26' but having an L-shaped dinette.
