Or it could be that a wire has become loose or broken somewhere between the brake pedal and the lights, or between the battery and the brake pedal. It would be best if you have a diagram of the wiring for your RV, and a voltmeter or continuity tester to isolate the problem.

Tools needed: Automotive Test light (best) or Volt meter (set to 12 volt range), screw driver to remove the plastic signal lens here

First start at the bulb contacts – there may be 1 or 2 or even 3 contacts. Touch each to see if the test light lights. If the wiring and socket are good then you your test light should light at one of the contacts. If it does not, then the socket could be the problem. [links]

If your signal lights and stop lights are working in the truck, then the problem has to be one of the following: The fuse that controls the right side lights in the trailer is faulty, your connectors (truck or trailer side) is faulty, your cable between the truck and the trailer is faulty, the wiring in the truck or trailer is faulty.

Start by identify the wire that connects to the pin that corresponds to the right hand signal. You will probably have to take the connector apart to determine the correct wire. Take this opportunity to tighten the connections. Trace that wire all the way to the right side signal light. This maybe difficult if the wires are buried in the frame or are covered by protective sheathing. [links]

Trailer Truck Tail Light 300x130x80mm Reverse Stop Turn . (Oscar Washington) Also bought LED magnetic towing lights, no right turn. I read your post the first time and if it works, great, but if I need to replace the bulbs then I just would like to know any recommended bulbs for cleared headlights? I can't find the right turn signal fuse or circuit breaker for turn signals. it has no circuit breakers for those two items only for hazards and markers does anyone have any advice or can help me locate where those fuses might be I've checked on the firewall and I've checked underneath the dash where.

Turn Signals on Trailer Not Working When Running Lights are On The most likely cause for the turn signals not to work when the running lights are on with your trailer is a bad or weak ground. It’s very possible that a weak ground connection can be just strong enough to allow sufficient current for some…

If your trailer is less than 6′ long, you do not need to have front side marker lights or front side marker reflectors. If your trailer is less than 30″ wide, you only need to have 1 brake light, 1 tail light, and 1 rear reflector. here

Helpful Expert Reply: In some instances the trailer will try to ground itself between the hitch ball and coupler if the trailer’s own ground connection is weak or poor. The best solution is to re-establish the trailer’s own ground connection. Find the trailer’s main ground wire at the trailers electrical connection. more
