Being a freelancer in the game means that your sim can choose the gigs they want to take and work on them whenever they have time, within deadlines of course.

One of the best additions to The Sims 4 in 2019 was the patch update where we were given the freelancer career. This career lets your sim work from home, or work from a park if they wanted to.

One awesome thing about being a freelancer means that you can take as many gigs as you can finish and do them one after the other to make a seriously high amount of money. here

nope, no cas items. painter unlocks a wall display item (a pair of pictures stacked against the wall), writer unlocks a laptop, programmer unlocks an interaction to speed up programming interactions on a computer for a set time, all three unlock a wall-mounted reward. that's all you'll get from the careers, itemwise (though programming isn't an item)

as for why the career cheat wouldn't work on the freelancer options, they only have one level, so there's no promotions at all. the first time you complete the progression bar on any freelancer category, it gives the sim a hidden trait that lets them make more money per freelancer gig, to sort of emulate a career advancement, but there really is no advancement, no promotion

The Freelancer Career option in The Sims 4 allows you to choose to work from home either as a Digital Artist, a Writer, or a Programmer.

Getting started is just like any other Career, with the phone or the computer. The only difference is this time, you'll pick your specialization immediately. Do note that if you choose the Digital Artist career, you'll want to pick up a sketchpad to work on!

I personally like to mood boost my Sims however before starting a project, for inspiration I use the computer to Browse Art. For Focused mood, I'll have my Sim Ponder Moves on a chess board. here

If you don’t feel like doing that, you have the option of going on your computer and purchasing seed packets that you can open and plant that way instead. Both options are valid. Once you have seeds in your inventory you can drag them onto the ground where you want them, then click on them and choose plant. more

To fertilize a plant you’ll need to have a harvestable in your inventory to fertilize with. You will click on the chosen plant and choose fertilize then choose the harvestable that you want to use as fertilizer. [links]

To be able to finish this aspiration you’ll need to finish off your gardening skill. This may take a bit of time, but you’ll be able to get there by just working on your garden each and every day. You can also gain the skill by reading gardening skill books. [links]

Evolving plants is easy as pie. After a few days of a plant being grown you’ll see the plant kind of sparkle and this means that it is able to be evolved. This increases the quality of the plant. You’ll need to click on it and choose evolve. However, you can’t do this with a super lower gardening skill so you may need to increase the skill before evolving. [links]
