Can a bass boat pull a skier? Yes, a bass boat can pull a skier. However, since bass boats are not specifically made for pulling skiers, there are some modifications that need to be made and some considerations that need to be taken in order to do this safely.

Although bass boats do not come equipped with tow bars, they are generally pretty easy to install, and they offer advantages not only for water skiing, but also for fishing. There are a few different styles of tow bars, but one of the most common types simply wraps around the outboard engine on the back of the boat. here
There are some features of bass boats that make them a good option for water skiing, but since they are not built with water skiing in mind, it will take a little bit of work. So before you head out to the lake, let’s take a closer look at how to safely pull a water skier with a bass boat.
Next I placed masking tape on general area to make marking easy and keep bit from crawling around.
I measured from the center of each cleat in 10 7/8" then square off of rear deck back 4 1/4" Once marks were made I drilled an 1/8" pilot hole.
Then clean up the shavings and off comes the tape!
