If you need a prop for your 9.9 to 15 hp outboard and heavy little boat, take a look at the Solas Amita 4 High Thrust aluminum propeller. It is a large diameter 4 blade prop with big ears that are absent of the blade rake you’re probably used to seeing, giving it good forward and reverse thrust characteristics. Available in 10 x 7 or 10 x 5 pitch sizes, it is suitable for pushing boats that are a little bit bigger than usual for the power range, such as when the outboard is used as a sailboat kicker.
