Right now I am not thinking about tweaking the setup. It has some very small dings on the prop leading edges and they are starting to show cracks. I am looking for suggestions for a spare prop ? just in case I damage this one on many of the un-marked reefs that are around here; or something at a lower than Yamaha replacement cost with OK performance, while this original is in the prop shop. Any suggestions appreciated. more

Basically, if you need a lot of positive trim look at the Lightnings. If you don't require a lot of positive trim, look at the TXP series. Naturally a lot depends on your set up and balance. [links]
I bought a single console 2007 SKEETER ZX225 with 225 Yamaha HPDI VMAX November 07. It has a 15 1/8? by 25 pitch Yamaha 3 blade stainless VMAX prop. Without careful straight-edging it looks like 3 to 3.25? below pad. Temps have been cold enough on Lake Mead I haven't opened it up. The ZX Skeeter has an OK hole shot and handles fine (It's a quantum step up from my old 17ft. Skeeter and I'm still learning to drive it); at 56 mph on GPS it's turning 4500 RPM. more
