Accommodations
In cabin, large 7' vee berths with tan cushions on fiberglass lockers. Four teak locker doors on aft bulkhead. Under starboard berth is the battery locker and a hatch for the manual head plumbed to holding tank. Two fixed ports, port and starboard, with opening cabintop hatch. Headroom below is 5'5 and 5'8" beneath hatch. here
Construction
Hand-laid solid fiberglass construction in 1988 by Terry Jason in Steuben, Maine. Molded fiberglass decks and platform, wooden wheelhouse with teak trim. Calvin Beal designed and built the plug for the 25' mold, and about 100 hulls were built.

This nice looking downeaster is clean and has been well maintained. Her Yanmar diesel has a mere 640 hours and provides good speed. There is a large open cockpit in back for fishing or entertaining. The helm is nicely laid out and offers great visibility. Electronics include radar, GPS, sounder and VHF. Sliding side windows and a drop curtain compliment the pilot house. Down below you will find a private head with a sink. There is a vee berth and lots of storage. She is ready to fish or cruise and doesn't need a thing. These Maine built boats are known for their rugged construction and exceptional seaworthiness. This is the second owner. The boat has never been used commercially. Ten years of service records available. The boat is now stored in the boat yard for the winter. All service has been done. Bottom was just painted. Boat was detailed inside and out.

This boat runs realy well is a Jason 1987 right when you put it in the water fires right up me and my dad used this boat 1 times a week in bass tournaments all summer last year has a 115 hp Yamaha 2stroke v4 the trolling motor works great and has fish finder.
