There is one near the airport open Monday to Saturday from 7:30 am to midday and 2 pm to 7 pm. There is an automatic payment pump.
Another in Lorient is open from 7:30 am to 5 pm, but is closed Thursday and Saturday afternoons and all day Sundays.
There are two taxi stations on the island, one at the airport and one in Gustavia on the public dock.

It is possible to call taxis for individual journeys however there are only two companies on the island and it is important to make reservations in advance. There are two petrol stations on the island, one near the airport and on in Lorient .
French law requires that service is compris (included) so unless you wish to reward exceptional service there is no obligation to tip.
The local currency is the Euro. There are five major banks on the island in Gustavia, with one in St Jean. They are open Monday to Friday 8am to noon and 2pm to 3.30pm.
