Each week, there’s a re-coupling, and the contestants who aren’t in a couple are sent home. In the end, the public votes for their favorite couple among the finalists, and the winner receives a cash prize. On Love Island US, that prize is $100,000 However, the money doesn’t go to the couple as a whole. Instead, it goes to one person by random draw. That person must then decide whether to share the money with their partner or keep it for themselves. Love Island US premiered in July 2019. Season 3, which premiered in July 2021 and aired its finale on August 15, was filmed at a villa in Nīnole, Hawaii.

Other plans include meeting each other’s family in person (they met each other’s families over Zoom on the show), and riding motorcycles together.” I’m most excited to meet her family. I’ve met her mom over Facetime. That was awesome. She’s a super genuine person, literally the exact same person but in older form. Her dad, I want to meet him, and her friends. Just how life is back home. That excites me and I can’t wait for it, honestly,” Korey said here

For fans wondering if the siblings get to keep whatever they find, Marty explained in a 2015 interview with History, "The treasure trove license says that the government gets 10 percent, except that they get all artifacts, and an artifact is virtually anything. An artifact means man-made. So there’s a little bit of fuzziness.

Since 2014, History Channel’s The Curse of Oak Island has followed the siblings’ expeditions of Oak Island, a small private isle located along the south shore of Nova Scotia, Canada. It’s long been rumored that priceless historical artifacts, including Marie Antoinette’s jewels and several Shakespearean manuscripts, are buried within those 140 acres.

For one thing, Osea is a tidal island. Twice a day, at low tide, a Roman-built causeway opens at low tide, connecting Osea to the mainland. During the rest of the time, the island is only accessible by boat—which made it the perfect setting for a creepy series like The Third Day. Sam can drive onto the island easily enough, but once the tide comes in, he's trapped. here

If there's one TV show that definitely doesn't seem to be based on a true story, it's HBO's The Third Day. The anthology miniseries, which stars Jude Law in its early episodes, focuses on an eerie island that's all-but disconnected from mainland Britain. Law plays a grieving father named Sam, who journeys to the island before being caught up in its isolated occupants' strange and menacing traditions. Not only is the island a real place, but some of the history provided in the show is completely accurate. Here's what you should know. more

In The Third Day's first episode, Sam learns from innkeepers Mr. and Mrs. Martin that the island was bought in 1903 by Frederick Nicholas Charrington, an heir to the Charrington Brewery who abandoned the family business in order to open a treatment center for people struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. more

During World War I, the island was used as a British navy base. After World War II, it was used as an ecological research site by Cambridge University, and it was bought by music producer Nigel Frieda in 2004. The following year, it became the site of another rehab center, a pricey clinic where Amy Winehouse sought treatment, but that was closed in 2010 amid allegations that it was treating patients without a license.
