"Aransas Pass area. redfish have been scattered over grass and potholes, jerk shrimp and Downsouth lures have worked well with top water bait in the mix. Haven't caught alot of trout but are here. most trout hanging in 3-5 of water close to the ICW. Downsouth lures and soft dines have worked well. continue to practice catch and release on all trout for the 2021 yr. It's extremely important to release all mature female trout (15-25)to have a maximum spawn for our estuaries."-Captain Larry [links]
