A storm-protected bay in the arms of mangrove trees with a lively and colorful nursery of fish.
My fiance and I rented a tandem kayak from Crabby's in Coral Bay and spent the day kayaking around Hurricaine Hole and out to Princess Bay. Gorgeous trip. We were on our own the whole day. We stopped in Borck Creek and found a secluded stop to get out of the kayak and snorkel. Absolutely beautiful starfish we saw here. Then we kept going to Princess Bay, checking out the Mangroves and then stopping at Whitesand Bay on our way back to Coral Bay. We were completely alone and the views were so amazing. Bring snacks and drinks!
I found this on a list of beautiful places to visit near Ocho Rios so today my brother, niece and I drove over for the afternoon. There aren't any signs out anywhere because they are apparently under new management and still in the process of getting everything up and running. They told us that for the time being they prefer guests to call ahead and make appointments so they can ensure everything is ready. That being said, it was an absolutely beautiful place and Ras Bobby, Lilly, and Biggie were all incredibly nice and welcoming. Ignore previous reviews saying you can just wander around on your own. That may have been true in the past, but the trail is now not as obviously marked, and you are on private property. Also our guide Biggie was extremely knowledgeable, telling us the names of dozens of the beautiful and interesting plants along the path as well as interesting facts about them and uses for them, so we were happy to have him with us. The entire hike/walk was lush and beautiful, and you can always hear the river. The path isn't too strenuous but I was happy to have some running shoes on and a bottle of water. Finally, the swimming hole at the end was nice and cold from the fresh water filtering down out of the surrounding rocks and it felt amazing to jump in and cool off after the warm, humid hike. Call ahead if you would like to do this. I loved going and will absolutely go back next time I visit the island. here

If you are in need of an adrenaline rush, then try a trip on a high speed powerboat to tour the islands at speeds of over 40 mph and feel the wind whipping your hair as you cut through the crystal clear waters. You can take a standard trip or you can charter your own speedboat and crew for a day.
There is an interesting affinity between human beings and dolphins and there are many stories of dolphins saving the lives of swimmers who have attracted the attention of predatory sharks. [links]
Holidays to the Caribbean have become very popular and there can be no more variety anywhere than you will find there. In addition to the many countries that you will find there, there are tropical island paradises to enjoy along with a rich cultural mix of European colonialists, the descendants of African slaves and native Indian tribes.

If those dolphins were a little too tame for you, then why not up the ante and go diving with the sharks in the Bahamas? It is not for everyone as you need to be an experienced diver. here
We bet you didn’t know that rum grows on trees. Well neither did we until we visited the laid back and friendly island of St. Kitts. Here people hang their empty rum bottles on the trees outside their houses to show their friends and neighbours how much they’ve drunk and what type of rum they’ve been buying.

If you’ve got your PADI then scuba diving HAS to be on your list of activities in Dominica! It’s regarded as one of the top diving destinations in the world, partly due to the 20 species of whale that enjoy the waters around the island. There’s also plenty of coral, along with octopus, eels, rays, trumpet fish, parrotfish, hawksbill turtles and seahorses. To add to the fun, the island’s volcanic origins create some special formations, including Champagne Reef – where you can dive or snorkel over the bubbles! Read more about scuba diving in Dominica.
