I have a 50lb thrust Minn Kota trolling motor that I use on my 14' fishing boat. If I replace the 2 blade propeller with a 3 blade propeller will it make any difference in speed? Will replacing my 2 blade propeller on my trolling motor with a 3 blade propeller make it any faster?
The addition of another blade (ie 3 blades to 4 for example) is typically recommended for high performance hulls running with high performance horsepower.

I to have a 50lb thrust Minn Kota trolling motor that I bought at a nautical "garage" sale at a Marina and it came with both a 2 and 3 blade prop. (the 2 blade was on the motor.) I put this thing on my dinghy. What I found between the two props was that the 3 blade seemed to make less noise and have a little less vibration, along with a bit quicker response. I also think the 3 blade does not run down my batteries as fast. So, I am pleased with it.

I have attached a link, and you can see what they have to say about them. I know, they are trying to sell you one. but my experience has been pretty much what they claim.

What are you talking about?
If your wondering about your electric,it may be possible that that motor has another style prop but maybe not.
I have a old stealth 30 TM,came with 2 props.
1 was a 2 blade(speed) the other a 4 blade(cut though weeds better).
I hope you were just messing to get a response.
I would like to see the picture of a 5 blade SS prop on your electric though.

sorry, just trying to a response. Considering a plastic? 3 blade, haven't seen anything more than that

The theme of my day was “time to change the prop,” I must have changed them out five times. I double checked the startup speed, and the Minn Kota prop responded more quickly.

The first performance I wanted to test was speed. My normal trolling speed is 3.5 on my Minn Kota remote which moves my boat at 1.3mph on a calm lake. I switched out the prop and installed the Kipawa three blade and was bouncing just above 1.4mph. I considered this a noticeable difference.

It is a great time to clean your prop shaft off of grass or fishing line. Then you can install your new prop in reverse order. After you secure your prop nut, you can torque it to 30-foot-pounds. If you don’t have a torque wrench nylock nuts are good at staying stationary so make it reasonably tight. [links]

If your propeller’s leading edge is beaten up, you can take tune it up. I start by placing the prop upside down on my workbench, and with a regular metal file, not a course file, I file the leading edge of each blade, starting from the center and working to the tip. After I have completed that process, I flip the prop over and start again from the center to the tip of each blade.
