This 2015 Tidewater 252CC is in good condition and has been either stored on a trailer or on a boat lift. The hull is in very good shape with no major scrapes nor blemishes. In the cockpit, the helm bench seating has some fading and stains and there is a stain on the bait prep station. All of the cushions and rub rails in great shape. There is a remote spotlight that has been installed and wired, but not connected to a helm remote. The floor is spotless as are all of the boxes. I just sold a Yamaha AR240 jet boat, upgrading to a dual engine center for crossing to Bimini. I am looking at the Tidewater 252 LXF (New) and Sea Fox 266(used). I really like the bow seating of the LXF. I am concerned with the ride quality since the boat is under 25ft. The Sea Fox is a true 26 footer. [links]
So my question is; how well does the TW handle blue water and chop? Will 16 inches in length make a difference? I do like speed. I read the TW will hit 53 mph w/ 150's in the right conditions. Is this correct? As far as numbers go, I have a deal work out on a 2019 252 LXF 79k. Based on my research, this seem to be a fairly good price. Can anyone confirm that statement? more
