They do so in a trio of open top sports cars, each wholly unsuited to the conflict ridden mountains of southern Turkey, the dangerous warzones of Iraq and the searing deserts of Syria.
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May embark on an appropriately seasonal road trip as they attempt to follow the path of the Three Wise Men across the Middle East.

Back on home turf, James tests the brand-new Jaguar XF and Richard asks whatever happened to that ultimate symbol of 1960s' grooviness, the beach buggy. I love the mischief the guys get up to. I think you actually have to search for "Top Gear Specials" as they are listed outside of the season line up.Also, we found that some specials are listed as Episode 0 in a season, so you have to go LEFT on the browsing screen (as the cursor always highlights episode 1 first). 57:08.

The best special of the all, the gags are great, the scenery is great, the challenge is interesting. Everything about this is great. No wonder May finds this to be his favourite adventure!
This was a very good special why is this not on the list?
In second to last for me is this special. Memorable for Oliver but I feel this special lacks actual motivation, like what was the point of this special again? Even the ending is one of the worst endings with them literally just them arriving at a checkpoint, no grand ending, no grand adventure it's kinda dull. That said it is highly entertaining and is a million times better than the dreadful Polar special more
Probably the WORST special and one of the weakest episodes over all. It has around twenty minutes before the adventure begins with them training, the we are treated to the most boring and lifeless adventure, it feels more like a nature documentary rather than Top Gear, no wonder they stopped their "polar challenges" after this because, well the ratings weren't that great for this special and it's barely even repeated it's that bad! The one I've watched most for sure. For me everything is perfect in this apart from the middle of it. The start is great and the ending is ledgendary but the middle does get a bit repetitive but without a doubt top 3
