So, when our Editor-in-Chief, Mark Evans, asked each of us to choose our Top 10 Best Dive Sites in the world, I said “alright, I’m game!” While some might argue that not all of my personal picks are the Best of the Best, they all offer A-class diving. more
Coming off the Jenny, divers will cross a 100-foot wide opening to find the last wreck in the lineup, the Esso Bonaire. Interestingly, while the Bonaire, a 146-foot freighter that was sunk in the 1980’s making it the oldest, is also the most intact sitting up right in the sand.
If I had to zero it down to just one specific dive site, my personal favorite is a compilation of wrecks in 90 feet of water called the Jupiter Wreck Trek. First is the Zion Train, a 164-foot long freighter, which was scuttled back in June 2003 and since been torn apart by passing hurricanes leaving the stern section as the largest piece of its remains. Next, to the north, is the Miss Jenny, a small barge sitting upside down in the sand. [links]

The spot itself at Crystal Bay is great but not amazing but what makes it so special is that this is THE place to spot the giant, strange looking, rare and mysterious Mola Mola Oceanic Sunfish… You also have good chances to spot these around Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan from August to October too, so good luck!
San Andres is not nice at all there are many other places better, hotel are popular type and services not that good. i have been diving in different places in latin america and there is no place like the south pacific with the exemption of bahamas, roatan islands in honduras and a few places in panama.
Hello all! I want to take a get dive certified with a friend. We can take vacation from Dec 1 to Dec 15. We live in India, and want to find a beautiful place in Asia itself. I checked out Tubataha reef but it appears it is closed in December due to rains. We are looking for something in Philippines, but open to other countries as well! Please advise. here

North Horn is located on the Osprey Reef only reachable by Liveaboards. It is a natural underwater amphitheatre where you can spot plenty of Grey Reef Sharks, Silvertip Sharks and even some Hammerhead sharks! A remote, rocky outcrop off the west coast of Thailand, Richelieu Rock attracts a huge diversity of marine life along its healthy reefs. Widely regarded as the best dive site in Thailand, visiting pelagics such as manta rays, whale sharks, and tuna mingle with resident reef species to create a variety and diversity of marine life that’s difficult to beat. To top it off, some excellent macro critters can also be discovered amongst the huge and intricate coral heads.
French Polynesia is known as one of the best shark diving destinations in the world, and what better place to dive with them than in Fakarava Island’s South Pass. Known locally as Tumakohua Pass, visitors can expect to encounter hundreds of lemon, whitetip, and hammerhead sharks patrolling the narrow sides of a submerged valley.
