No problem! That's why we are here right! To attain a higher level of "OPEness" than the average Joe!
Yes I am using it at 100:1 as specified by the company. I have talked with the president on the phone and he gave me all kinds of assurance when I started using it. here
sometimes i come up with some strange thoughts and questions on slow days like this when the mind can get to rambling. Anyone have any thoughts or theories on this?
The engines I can honestly say have more power, and run clean as can be. NO fouling of ports since the changeover. As you run the Opti-2 in older equipment, it will actually help clean out the engine and improve performance. I have seen this. NO ring jobs, NO carb rebuilds, NO loss of compression. I now spend a LOT less time servicing my equipment. I have been using it professionally for years and wouldn't use ANYTHING else. One can beats 5 or 6. more

Use a 32:1 gasoline to oil ratio. One gallon of gasoline combined with 4 oz of two-cycle engine oil. If you are in the state of California, use a 2-cycle oil mix ratio of 40:1.
For two-cycle handheld equipment manufactured prior to 2003:
Unsure of the age of your equipment?
A Toro TC3000 string trimmer has a two-cycle engine that requires oil and fuel to be mixed together to run and lubricate internal parts at the same time. An incorrect mixture of too little or no oil in the mix can cause immediate and irreparable engine damage. Too much oil in the gas causes a smoking exhaust, loss of engine power and oil leaks from the muffler.
Mix your fuel and oil correctly by using a clean gasoline can that holds 1 gallon. Pour about 1/2 gallon of fresh gasoline into the can. Add 2.6 ounces of two-cycle oil. Place the cap on the gas can and swirl it to mix the contents. Add the remaining 1/2 gallon of gas to the can, replace the cap and swirl it again to mix it thoroughly. You can buy the mixture already made up at home improvement centers if you prefer not to mix your own. here
The correct fuel and oil mixing ratio for a Toro TC3000 trimmer is 50:1. It is 50 parts gasoline to 1 part two-cycle oil. Mix 1 gallon of fuel with 2.6 ounces of oil to operate the trimmer's engine at the optimum lubrication in the fuel system. [links]
