As others have mentioned, this lock will not fit certain 2” ball type trailer couplers/tongues. The lock won't go on as the lip on my trailer is thicker then this lock will allow. I gambled, but it did not fit. I think the manufacturer should go back to the drawing board as it is obvious that others have similar issues and the trailer manufacturers usually use universal type parts/dimensions. Good construction, but poor overall execution. here

Don't buy this lock. It's a cheap piece of crap made in China and the lock won't lock; therefore, rendering it worthless.
