Museum-Quality Exhibits
With three aquatic exhibits, you’ll want to take a seat and spend some time enjoying the view. Our big aquarium holds 22,000 gallons of fresh water and is full of fish native and new to Colorado waters. Some of these include: rainbow trout, large and small mouth bass, sturgeon, crappie, blue gill, fresh water drum, and walleye. Across from the large fish tank is a stream exhibit, and chances are when you walk over the bridge, you’ll also spot a few fish such as muskee and rainbow trout. Our second largest aquarium is a salt water tank located in Islamorada Fish Company, our restaurant adjacent to the store. This tank holds 13,000 gallons and has salt water fish like cat sharks, Napoleon wrasse, French angel, harlequin tusk, and blue hippo tang (the ‘Dori’ fish from the movie Finding Nemo). more
