“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

30. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31. They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved–you and your household.” (Acts 16:30-31)

Despite the best efforts to provide nutrients and maintenance to the tree of hope, the tree would not take root in the soil at ground zero. This tree of hope was a ceder tree. In the bible, ceder is a symbol of strength and purity: 49. “To cleanse the house then, he shall take two birds and cedar wood and a scarlet string and hyssop, (Leviticus 14:49). The ceder tree is a rugged tree, it tends to be easy to care for and is robust even in drought conditions. They require low maintenance once they are established they tend to do fine without much intervention. But, even with all this going for it, the Tree of hope did not prosper and eventually withered away. The tipping point came on day of the passover of the blood moon (April 15, 2014) when the tree was unceremoniously uprooted and destroyed. This symbol of purity could not take root in poor soil! Why did this tree of hope die? I believe that G-d is trying to send us a message to the world literally, prophetically, and spiritually. That message is that even though this was a “tree of hope”, there is no hope without Christ: 12. remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world . (Ephesians 2:12). In addition, since the United States is in dire straights and has turned away from G-d, the purity of cedar cannot take root in poor soil. G-d’s blessings will NOT take root in a people that shun him: 5 Thus says the LORD, “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind And makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the LORD. 6 “For he will be like a bush in the desert And will not see when prosperity comes, But will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, A land of salt without inhabitant. (Jeremiah 17:5-6 ). Remember the tree that Jesus cursed? Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “ May you never bear fruit again! ” Immediately the tree withered. (Matthew 21:19). If we as a nation do not produce good fruit, we will be cursed. more

Each of the "In Memory" gifts sent by Seeds of Life is attentively and lovingly grown at our family farm. Each memorial tree gift has its own established root system and is carefully selected to thrive in the climate which it is sent to. We work hard to ensure that the memory trees that we grow arrive healthy, beautiful, and ready to be successfully planted and grown. In fact, if your tree fails for whatever reason within the first six months, we will replace it free of charge. This happens very rarely, though, due to the care we take raising, selecting, and packaging our memorial tree gifts.

Growth and Strength: A tree is a universal symbol of strength and growth as they stand tall and strong all over the world. They spread their roots deep into the soil to ground and stab ilize themselves. Trees can weather the toughest of storms, which is why they are such a prominent symbol for strength. The Tree of Life represents growth as a tree starts out as a small, delicate sapling and grows over a long time into a giant, strong tre e. The tree grows up and outwards, representing how a person grows stronger and increases their knowledge and experiences throughout their lifetime. more

Immortality and Rebirth: The Tree of Life is a symbol for rebirth as trees lose their leaves and seem to be dead during winter, but then new buds appear and new, fresh leaves unfurl during the spring. This represents the beginning of a new life and a f resh start. The Tree of Life also symbolizes immortality because even as the tree grows old, it creates seeds that carry its essence so it lives on through new saplings. more
