With the V-berth forward and the midcabin, this boat is great for a couple or a family of three or four. She has only been used on fresh water and has never been bottom painted. She shows well and is being commissioned the third week of August 2021 with her replaced engine block being water trialed. The camper canvas is in good shape and the upholstery shows better than others of this vintage. The interior of the boat looks great with no signs of leaks whatsoever. Everyone will love the cockpit, with the port side recliner and the helm seat that converts to a sunpad. For the swimmers and fisherman in the group, the swim platform is a delight! 1968 (educated guess) Blue Jay sail boat. Barn find. All the sails, mast, center board, rudder, floor boards, etc are there. It was being refinished just before it was stored for over 30 years in a barn here in NH. Hull #4400.
The boat shows very well. The cushions and seating look great and the hull shines. There is a small gel coat nick on the port forward hull side. The pull-up cleats loosened up so the owner replaced the original nuts that had been incorrectly installed with larger SS Ny-lock nuts on 5 of the 6 cleats. On the starboard spring-cleat, he had to drill an access hole to reach the back of the cleat. See photos. Stock #249956 2017 Yamaha 212 LTD. Twin 180HP! Fantastic boat for lake watersports!
