3)When you unscrew the 4 drain plugs, there is a good chance little to no water will run out. Many people make the assumption that they are good to go. There should be A LOT of water that comes out of each. Take a small screwdriver or piece of wire and prod the hole. You'll feel all the sand/mud/rust crap blocking the hole, and then water will gush out for awhile. This is very important.

2)Most people will suggest draining the block and manifolds before adding antifreeze, but if you are planning to drain it all anyways, well it's the same effect I imagine. You really can save money and not worry about the antifreeze.

Thanks MUC. I bought a kit that has a hose attachment with a "T" and you fill the container with the pink antifreeze. When ready, you turn the valve and it flows the antifreeze in till your done. I was just curious if i could use this flush attachment on the motor instead of the ear muffs for injecting the antifreeze once the motor is at operating temp. 1)There are many opinions on filling the fuel tank versus leaving it where it is versus draining it. I've always just added stabilizer to whatever is in there at the time and called it good.
