Hello,
Just purchased a 2006 starcraft 2410 OB limited with the tilt steering helm / 225hp suzuki. Steering is very hard to turn left, right is smooth, we bleed it 4 times with new seastar oil making sure no air is trapped, pump and master cylinder are not leaking, my mechanic suggest to buy a new pump, I called seastar distributor and ask for same model on boat ''HH5290'' I was told it's been replaced by HH6190-3 2.0.cu , after installing the new helm pump, results are devastating, no improvement at all and hard steering to left is same as it used to be before, I called seastar, they say in order to get rid of hard steering I have to buy a new pump HH6191-3 1.7.cu. Before I buy this new pump do you guys have any suggestions?
