I used the Seavolt Deep Cycle AGM 32 from west marine on my 10' pram with an older 30lb thrust motor. It performed well but it was a little pricey compared to a standard Deep Cycle battery, however it is a bargain compared to the lithium batteries and weighed much less than a standard group 24 or 27 deep cycle battery.
Well. light means lithium. And getting a whole day with lithium is gonna mean $$. The number you want to look at is reserve minutes. That will give you a baseline to compare your options. In my experience, the best battery for trolling applications is the Odyssey- which is an AGM. Lead acid, with Absorbed Glass Matt. They last the longest and tolerate recharge the best. They're smaller and lighter (relatively speaking) than traditional lead acid (car) batteries- but still somewhat heavy. On the upside, the chances of burning a hole in your boat and sinking are virtually zero. more
I did not use it for all day trolling I used it to get from there to here and here to there. It is a Group U1 in size and weighs about 23-24lbs. It is only 32 Amp hours and your motor is capable of pulling 30 amps at full power. Of course you would not run the motor at full speed all the time but I am not sure the capacity of this battery will be enough for you. [links]

Consequently, how many amps does a Minn Kota trolling motor use? [links]
To use an example, a 55 lb thrust motor unit has a peak power draw of 40 amps. If you use the trolling motor for 6 hours at average 50% load of 20 amps, the trolling motor will then require a battery load of 120 Ah. (6 hours X 20 amps=120 amp hours).
Likewise, how long will a 12v battery run a trolling motor? A battery with a 1 Ah capacity should be able to deliver a current of 1 amp or discharge for an uninterrupted 1 hour. As a general rule, smaller batteries are usually rated at 25 Ah to 50 Ah and bigger deep-cycle batteries could be rated as high as 100 Ah. There is no ideal amp-hour rating for a trolling motor battery.
The Minn Kota Endura C2 55 Transom - mount 12V 55 lb. Thrust Trolling Motor has a max amp draw of 52 amps/hr but only 5 lbs more thrust. 3. Because of the larger windings in the 50 lb thrust model, lower speeds use less amperage for the same thrust. more
