If you are flying a smaller jet, you’d obviously burn less fuel. Fly a shorter distance and discharge your flight crew early. Also, smaller jets take up less space in the hanger so you’d also pay less for parking.
I know this might be an awkward question to ask on Reddit but after my own research and some experts' opinions I wanted to get the opinion of someone that is not trying to sell me something. So I want to get a private jet a long range one since I live in Middle East and visit America pretty often. I am not a billionaire so price is still an important thing to consider but also making 8-10 million a year so it is important but the budget is not super limited. Luxury is also important since as I said I travel often and do not want to sit in an uncomfortable aircraft for too long. Do any of you guys have any ideas/recommendations for this kind of jet? The range should typically be about 8-10 thousand kms. I am currently thinking about something like a Gulfstream G500. more
You're probably better off using a charter service than buying your own. It's more expensive, but a lot less of a headache. You can find charter companies that'll fly you in a Gulfstream or Global. Either would be a good option.
But, supposing you are in a specific place and you want to get to a specific place at specific time, there is still a big variation beyond the gimmicks and promos that seem to proliferate charter marketing these days.
