Not many V6 5 speeds are equipped with tow packages, Bama. They may be rated as low as 3500lb.
The V-6 has plenty of power its the crappy 5 speed ford uses. I had to have a new one put in at 35,000 miles. Lucky the second one is still doing okay at 142,000. I just did a clutch job. here
