Frequently check gauge while filling. When oil reaches level line, stop filling and screw in gauge. This will create an air lock to prevent oil loss when the fill plug is installed. Tighten fill plug to a torque of 60-84 in Ibs. (7-9 N.m). Finish procedure by tightening level indicator to a torque of 10-12 ft. Ibs. (14-16 N.m).
Do not screw in the gauge. Gauge must rest on threads to ensure adding the proper amount of oil when making an initial fill. It will also allow the reservoir to vent while filling. more
Fill the drive with OMC Hi-Vis gearcase lubricant. Fill slowly to allow air to purge. here

Lower compartment Type C ONLY
When you pull the plugs it will have seals on all the screws.ANY boat repair place will have these.You have 3 compartments(I think) with oil.The upper and lower and the trim section.
Drain all the oil and pressure test it.You might have to take it to a dealer to get it tested.It could be as simple as a drain seal or prop shaft seal.
You might get lucky and find someone who will work on it.
Seasons almost over.I'd just refill and use it.Just keep an eye on it.Make sure it's changed for the winter.J [links]

I actually just change my prop and I didnt see any fish lines. So how would I pressure test the lower unit?

Volvo did in fact purchase the OMC outdrive division. The OMC Cobra is actually a good drive. The downfall and bad reputation can often be contributed to misadjusted shift cables, engine idle too high, and inoperable ESA switches. They require a tech who knows what they are doing when these are set up.

Impellers pump cold water into your boat's engine to cool it down while in use. If you have a bad impeller it can cause big problems. [links]
