During the last night on the boat, Brian and Courtney spent the night in one of the guest cabins and ended the season as friends. However, at the reunion a few months later, Courtney called out Brian for sending her "venomous" and "aggressive" text messages while the season was airing. Brian shut down her accusations, saying they weren't aggressive and he was only trying to defend himself. [links]
Brian de Saint Pern appeared on season 6 of Below Deck as the lead deckhand and is still pursuing a similar career. The last viewers saw Brian, he was in the middle of a boatmance with the third stew, Courtney Skippon. At first, she was unsure about getting involved with Brian, as Courtney did not think he was the man he tried to portray himself to be. The former stew gave the deckhand a chance, and the pair had a low-key romance for the rest of the charter season.
Since the end of season 6, Brian has continued his pursuits in the yachting industry. According to BravoTV, after the former lead deckhand left Valor in Thailand, he went to France and rejoined the boat he left before Below Deck. "We're just doing a shipyard period, fixing up the boat, a lot of maintenance," Brian revealed in April 2020. Yachting has become a full-time career for Brian, and he hopes to be working for as long as he possibly can. "I want to be a captain one day, so I'm just striving for that," he said of his yachting career goals. In fact, the South African native may not be too far off from achieving that goal. "I've just come back from Florida [. ] So I've done my OOW [Officer of the Watch] modules," he shared. more

People who watched Below Deck season 7 first met Tanner Sterback when he appeared on the show as a deckhand, and it's time to share information about his life after the nautical reality series. His mom's warnings didn't stop Tanner from getting into endless Below Deck romantic drama, by hooking up with Simone and trying to persuade chief stew Kate Chastain to go out on a date with him. So, what has Tanner been up to since departing from Thailand after season 7 wrapped? Well, a month after the reunion was filmed in February 2020, Tanner was in a serious accident.
“Yeah I lost my temper, I shouldn’t have, I should have control of myself but I want people to know what she was referring to and where she was coming from,” he said. “Kate’s a clever person, she knows what she’s doing and she knew that she was hitting a nerve with me.” more
But of course it didn’t end there. Once the crew gets back to the boat, the arguing continued in the crew mess, and even for Tanner who had stumbled into his bed by that point. “Ash comes to my room, wakes me up, and I think there’s a fire or something because I’m passed out, it’s like three in the morning. Ash was like, get out of bed, get out of bed. I’m like alright, I walk out there like, what’s going on? And he says, ‘Tell us we didn’t make fun of your mom.’ I’m like, you don’t make fun of my mom, what are you talking about, this is why you woke me up?” But ultimately Tanner said he wasn’t too annoyed, and after Kate packed up her things to leave the boat, “Ash and I went on the aft deck and had a couple beers and cigarettes so I was like, sweet. Keep the good times going.” [links]
Not that the good times lasted too long. “You saw the hole between boys vs. girls start, then a rivalry happened, it became like battle,” Tanner observed. “Top tiers positions, interior vs. exterior, and it just got annoying. There was a line drawn like, which side are you taking? I kinda stayed neutral which was nice.” [links]
