Will finds the Black Pearl crew on Pelegosto hiding from the Kraken, a voracious leviathan controlled by Davy Jones, the mythical captain of the Flying Dutchman and ruler of the seas. While Jones hunts Sparrow to collect a blood debt, Jack searches for the Dead Man's Chest containing Jones' beating heart. Whoever possesses the heart, controls Davy Jones and rules the oceans. Norrington arrives in Port Royal and presents the heart and the Letter of Marque to Cutler Beckett. Meanwhile, Will, Elizabeth and the grieving crew make their way to Tia Dalma, the voodoo priestess who helped Jack find the Dead Man's Chest. As the crew drinks a somber toast to their fallen captain, Elizabeth silently agonizes over her betrayal. Believing Elizabeth now has feelings for Jack, Will comforts her. "If there was anything could be done to bring him back. . ." Tia Dalma interrupts, "Would you do it. Would you brave the weird and haunted shores at World's End. To fetch back witty Jack. And him precious Pearl?" All say, "Aye." Dalma says they will need a captain who knows those waters. Unexpectedly, a resurrected Captain Hector Barbossa descends the stairs. here

Jack deserts the ship in the last longboat, but as Elizabeth predicted, he returns to save his crew. During the Kraken's momentary retreat, he orders all hands to abandon ship. Realizing the Kraken only wants Jack, Elizabeth distracts him with a passionate kiss while handcuffing him to the mast. She tells him she is "not sorry", but she is deeply affected by her deception. here
The fifth film received some of the worst reviews of the series so far and was the first to earn less than its predecessors at the box office, but by 2017 the bad news was just beginning for the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Since then, series star Johnny Depp was reportedly fired from the series. The upcoming sixth film was split into two projects, a reboot starring Margot Robbie and a potential sixth movie in the original series sans Depp. To say fans have been displeased by these events would be an understatement, with a petition to reinstate Depp in the role of Jack Sparrow garnering over half a million signatures. As a result of these issues, it appears that the forthcoming historical action-adventure Jungle Cruise will endeavor to fill this franchise slot on Disney’s calendar instead. here

Relying on Jungle Cruise rather than the embattled Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is likely to be a canny call for Disney, as the recent reaction to Jack Sparrow’s Pirates of the Caribbean return in the video game Sea of Thieves proves the franchise’s fans are still attached to the star’s involvement. Jungle Cruise, in contrast, features action cinema legend Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in a starring role as adventurer Frank, and few multiplex staples have as many successful genre efforts to their name as the former WWE star. The Jumanji movies specifically have seen Johnson combine physical comedy with action-adventure heroics recently, while his Jungle Cruise co-star Emily Blunt has both the action credits of A Quiet Place and Edge of Tomorrow and the family film pedigree of playing Mary Poppins to her name. As usual Johnny Depp plays a great character and Captain Jack Sparrow Great Adventure swashbuckling funny adventure what more can you ask for Fantasy full takes you away from your reality for a little while so you can enjoy some other things I highly recommend any kind of movies like these Johnny Depp seems to love to play characters and dress-up with makeup that's his specialty his personal life who cares he's still a good actor and he plays his roles excellently.
I love this DVD chest. Looks like Davy Jones chest, only smaller. It's a must have for collectors of Pirates of the caribbean memorabilia. [links]
