If you’re not having much luck when it comes to rewards, you may want to try your luck with Bright Engrams. These can be earned by earning EXP once you’ve reached the max level, through completing certain missions, or they can be purchased from Tess Everis herself. Whenever you have Bright Engrams, be sure to head over to Tess in the Eververse to see if you can bag yourself a new ship. here

You can get yourself a new ship in Destiny 2 via a couple of different methods. The first is by simply playing through the game and completing the various missions, public events, and challenges you come across along the way. By doing so, you’ll unlock a number of rewards. These can range from weapons and armor, to cosmetic items, including a slick new ship design.

Located in the Exodus Black on Nessus, Exodus Black AI Failsafe is a (mostly) friendly AI who will give you gear. You can offer up Nessus tokens to her for Legendary loot or buy her 200-power green gear for Glimmer.

Also located in the Tower hanger (next to Cayde-6), Chief Shipwright Amanda Holliday will sell you basic ships and vehicles (Sparrows). These Sparrows aren’t particularly fast or flashy.

Located in the Tower courtyard and in the Farm, Lord Shaxx is the overseer of the Crucible, Destiny 2’s multiplayer, PvP game mode. Similar to completing Strikes, finishing Crucible matches will net you Crucible tokens. Take these to Lord Shaxx, and he will offer you rewards. [links]

Located in the Tower’s hanger, Cayde-6 will sell you two items that you can use on Patrol. Scout Reports are a consumable that highlights chests in a specific area for the next four hours, allowing you to farm easily. Cayde-6 also sells Treasure Maps, which highlight the locations of bountiful chests in that given week’s Flashpoint location. [links]

Located in the Tower bazaar, Suraya Hawthorne is the Clan Steward. She will sell you some 200-power gear for a bit of Glimmer like many other vendors, but her main purpose it to give you your Clan banner and reward you for Clan activities. Each and every week you will be able to earn Clan experience in exchange for powerful gear. Hawthorne is the NPC that will give you this loot once you have earned it.

Located at the Farm, Tyra Karn is yet another Cryptarch. She serves the exact same function as Master Rahool, so there is no reason to use her specifically once you have the Tower unlocked. However, if you have an engram and just happen to be back on the Farm, she will happily decrypt it for you.

Even though there's technically nothing wrong with ships like this, the styles can really only go up from here, making Wandersong, unfortunately, one of Destiny 2's worst ships. Bringing this into orbit before a raid will have raid teams cracking jokes behind other players' backs, as they will each have their own ship that's much cooler than Wandersong.

When placed next to ships like A Thousand Wings, it's not hard to see why Asher Mir's One Way Ticket is one of the worst ships in the game. So many of Destiny 2's ships have imaginative and expressive designs, while Asher Mir's One Way Ticket is just a small pod with nothing much else going on for it.

Updated on March 23rd, 2021 by Hodey Johns: Three more seasons have been released since the writing of this article. The original article made such a compelling case for all ten entries that none of them could be reasonably removed, so two more "best" and "worst" entries have been added, bringing the total to fourteen. As always, the entries will be a matter of opinion and this is not a popularity contest, but after monitoring forums and chat logs, there does appear to be some consensus over which ships people are excited to see and which ones get a giggle a best.

The ribbons that flow from its wings give the illusion of a bird soaring through the sky, and that's exactly the type of imagery people want to be associated with their ship. It also helps that Saint-14 was heavily featured in Destiny 2's Season of Dawn, which brought about many positive changes for the game. [links]

Sure, some ships like A Thousand Wings might represent fantastic accomplishments or make a Guardian stand out because of their bright colors, but Black Peregrine is for a higher class of Guardian. Black Peregrine is for the classy player, the type who applies the same shader to each of their weapons so they match. It's the most elegant travel solution in all of Destiny 2, and it shows. more

Completing the secret quest The Whisper on Heroic difficulty and finding five hidden chests will reward gamers with this ship's blueprint, and to get the finished ship they'll have to run the same quest on Heroic difficulty multiple times. It's one of Destiny 2's hardest quests, and running it successfully four times on Heroic is quite the hurdle to cross, making this ship one of Destiny 2's rarest.
