The challenge of destroying his son, whom he already has plenty of ammo against? Was he about to have a big plate of fuckin’ chicken to make up for what Tom took the day before? here
After over an hour of chicken-stealing, iPad-chucking, and toe-fungus-inspecting in Succession’s Season Two finale, we’re left with the inevitable twist: The “blood sacrifice” promised by Logan Roy turned out to be Kendall. In the episode’s final moments—when Kendall is about to take the fall for Waystar Royco, and admit to his involvement in the cruise line coverups—he goes from sadboy to killer, outs Logan and calls him a liar, and launches all out war on his dad.
Turns out—and this is straight from Brian Cox himself, who plays Logan to Shakespearean degrees in Succession—it was a moment of pride. In an interview with Vulture on Monday, Cox said, “There was a certain inevitability to it… Logan is really setting Kendall up to become the man he has not been.” This ties right back to the weird speech Logan gave Kendall when he informed him of his blood-sacrificedom— the whole bit about the prophecy where a son was annihilated so brutally that he would rise again. Things are looking good for Kendall. But that doesn't mean he's off the hook.
Cox continued his finale postgame breakdown—explaining that Logan couldn’t have chosen Shiv because of her marriage troubles, and certainly not newborn meme Connor (“Connor, God bless him, is far too much of a flake!” he says.). We've already reported on the HBO executives scouting the Croatian coast for the locations to film some of their shows. It seems that we've found out at least a part of the reason why they were here a couple of months ago: a critic favourite show, Succession.
Dubrovnik is, of course, a veteran of HBO shows, but for Korčula this will be the first filming of such magnitude. Major Andro Fabris tells Lozica that the HBO crew will arrive at Korčula on July 17th, and that their entire equipment and yacht will be located in the area near the Leda shipyard. Most of the scenes filmed in Korčula will take place at the entrance to the Old Town, on the main square in front of the St. Mark's Cathedral and in the restaurant Cupido, which is located near the 5-star hotel Lešić Dimitri Palace. Some of the filmings will take place during the night-time, so they requested the lights in the town to be fully on for a bit longer, mayor Fabris explains. He added that they probably won't charge HBO for those services. here
Konavle municipality at the same time reports that the riva (the waterfront) in Cavtat will be fully closed for traffic in the morning hours. We'll just have to wait and see if it's possible to accommodate such large productions in Dalmatian towns during high tourist season, without creating major disruptions in the already busy everyday lives.

The majority of the guest accommodation is placed on the main deck, where the elevated position provides better views and more natural light into the spacious and light interiors. Each has a classical appearance using light coloured wood and inlays in mother of pearl, and a subtle Middle Eastern motif in the patterns.
The most impressive of all however is the Tree of Life at the centre of the stairwell, which stretches from the lower deck all the way up to the sundeck. [links]
The Owner’s suite is a part of its own dedicated deck, which includes an office and separate his-and-hers dressing rooms and bathrooms. There is a salon more casual in appearance the opulent main deck lounge, and the bedroom itself contains hand-made Italian furniture and a stunning chandelier above the central bed. Its forward position overlooks the bow through 180-degree windows, where there is a private spa pool. more
With Logan making his curdling promise of a “blood sacrifice” last week, the emphasis shifted from which sibling will take over from Logan to who will be thrown out as red meat and bones to shareholders. They are getting restless at the inquiry into historical wrongdoing; one even suggests to Logan that he himself take the fall. He notes the suggestion.
Well this is a killer all right. A finale that seems to be tapering towards a sombre, inevitable conclusion only to lash you round the face with the sting in its tail and set us up for the already-commissioned third season.
