Yes Mercury does make a motors/outdrives with bigger shafts. They are 1 1/4inch diameter shafts and are typicallyfound on the Mercury Pro XS motors.

According to the flo-torq Hub Kit part number list, The Tempest Plus prop uses Hub kit part number 835257K6, This number is used for the Mercury V-6 Outboard engine using the Tempest Plus, Trophy, & also the Mercruiser Rev 4 & Bravo 1 standard style props (under 400 HP). [links]
That prop probably will fit a Yamaha. If it's hubbed for a 15 spline Merc shaft it will work with the right thrust washer, no big deal. If it's a square bore prop it will fit any motor with the right hub kit. [links]
