A very collectible Betram 28 Flybridge. With only 2800 ever built this Flybridge Cruiser was one of the best selling Bertram models. Designed along the lines of the Classic Bertram 31, the 28 is roomy, comfortable and easy to handle for one person. A solid Deep V hull with an 11 foot beam make her 4 berth space roomy with an efficient galley, stand up head and plenty of storage as a summer live aboard.
This is a one family owner rare Chris Craft that was produced from 1966 to 1969. There were around 70 produced in 1968. I have had both engines, trannys, carbs and fuel pumps rebuilt over the years. Left side driving station and a convertable top makes it unique. New seats in the cabin as well as up top, new carpet and fresh paint. Sleeps 6, has a kitchen area, pump out head and dining table. Large couch that converts to twin bunk beds. The boat is solid, runs perfect and looks amazing. I have the original bill of sale and owners manual. The boat was born and raised on fresh water, has spent her entire life under cover and has never been trailered. There is NO trailer with this boat. Please contact me with questions. The name on the back of the boat can be removed in minutes with a heat gun should you wish to re-name.
The boat was the property of Hugh Gunnison through a large part of its operational years. My parents bought the boat from him in 1986. Many great times were had on her on the St Lawrence where she was stored and maintained at St Lawrence Restoration. In 1992 my parents restored the boat through F. Everett Smith of Canton, NY. In 2004 St Lawrence Restoration rebuilt the engine and did some other work towards getting her sea worthy. Unfortunately she never got back in the water. Upon inheriting the boat I put her in a cement-floored barn in Dryden, NY where she is now. The trailer she is on is a modified double wide house trailer with three axles. I have all the paper work and receipts supporting the history of the boat. My hope is to find a loving owner who will bring her back to her beauty and carry on the tradition of this wonderful boat! Make an offer for this project boat. more
This boat was part of an inheritance. The new owners were caretakers of the gentleman. They have fond memories of him. They know he took the best care of his riches. The wood on this boat was polished every year. I will add more details as I get them. This boat is docked at there house in Kinsale Va. more

It has a double planked 5200 bottom. New gas tanks, upholstery and flooring, 12 volt electrical system, both motors have been rebuilt. All wood has been stripped and restored. This boat can be totally enclosed with the new tops, so you can stay on it. This is a beautiful boat and is a MUST SEE!

"Scamper" was designed and built by Professor Charles W. Harris in 1920. Harris was professor of the University of Washington hydraulics lab which is now part of the Civil Engineering program. He drew the plans, tank tested a model, and built this gorgeous fantail launch in his back yard. Research indicates Harris used the boat until 1934, taking a trip to Princess Louisa Inlet in 1922 and a trip to Alaska in 1923. "Scamper" has seen many owners in past years and has undergone much renovation, with a major refit completed in the 1980's. Powered by a fresh (repower completed approx 2000) Yanmar 3 cyl. diesel with 2280 hours, she sports an upgraded hydraulic steering system and new fuel tank. Her bottom was stripped and sanded to bare cedar in 2013 with new bottom paint applied after getting inspection and some minor seam re-caulking. Her pilothouse door frames sport numerous wooden boat show plaques and awards. She's a real head turner and she runs beautifully. "Scamper" graced the cover of Wooden Boat magazine in November/December 1991 issue. Current owner has enjoy her since 2011 and has aspirations to cruise the South Pacific, so she's seriously for sale.
"Scamper" is moored in a private marina in Anacortes. Please contact Mike Mullenberg via cell/text at 425-998-8731 to arrange an appointment to view this special vessel. more

A stunningly individual signature. The classic 45 offers everything the Nelson Hull lineage stands for, whilst Dale s unique levels of craftsmanship rejoice in. here
