I went to my local marina and they don't sell the yamahas but he said the Solas New Saturn was comparable. [links]
My top speed (clean tubes, light load) was 39.63 MPH.
I have got to get me one of these. here
Top speed the other day with aload and dirty tubes was 36 MPH.
On that day I had the opportunity to try a Yamaha Reliance prop (14 1/2 x 15). My critique of the test drive was "Oh baby!!". Better hole shot, better handling (no blow out in the turns), top end was 37.7 mph. Still turning 5500 rpm. I did have some small occasional chatter at idle speeds.
