So basically pull the unit and then How do I get the piston and parts out without pulling the cap? It self explanatory when I pull it? Thanks for all the help! here

Tilt cap removal is similar. The PT and T unit had to be removed in order to get the tilt rod out. Then the piston and parts at the bottom of the rod removed, then the cap can be slid off and the seal replaced.

You can see, the center tilt cylinder is much harder to replaced seals and orings on then the two trim cylinders. The tilt cylinder is removed, then the piston(part #12) is removed from the rod , then the cap slides off the bottom. Then you can replace the oring and seal in the cap. Careful when you remove part 12. lots of parts in there.
