The enclosed skylounge keeps the helm and guests protected in a climate controlled environment. A smaller dinette and wet bar are still present and a second day head has been added. This arrangement has the advantage of also providing outdoor seating. here

She handles quite well, too. We had calm seas so we can’t validate her rough conditions handling, but long experience with Ocean Alexander has shown that these yachts are well suited to handle less than ideal conditions. She’s well-stabilized and penetrating our self-generated waves showed a hull that slides clean through waves while keeping spray low for a dry ride.
It’s in close-quarters that she continues to impress with exemplary handling around the dock. She’s still in the realm of being owner/operated for her size and as such, her docile handling characteristics will bode well for her owners. We brought this 100-footer (30 m) into and out of a dock only slightly more than her length with yachts both fore and aft and did so with surgical precision. Unlike past models that had us questioning the logic of small thruster size, this boat, with her 55-hp bow thruster and 40-hp stern thruster were more than adequate.
Adding to her handling qualities were her rudders at 9 sq. ft. (0.8 sq. m) each. These allowed the Ocean Alexander 100 Motoryacht to be controlled with only a minimum of headway, which made her handling around the dock remarkably responsive.
