Im pretty sure the TAN with BLUE stripe is connected to an ALARM then runs to the "A" terminal. Is this a temperature alarm, or oil alarm or something?

The next step is to disconnect on of the two wires on the "A" terminal and repeat the test. If the fuse holds - you found the circuit. If not, replace the wire and disconnect the other. If the fuse now holds, you found the problem. If not, I'm out of suggestions. here
the motor im working on is a 2002 Basstracker By Mercury Marine. its a 2-stroke ELPTO, 3 cylinders, 50 hp
I was able to locate a ground wire in this location. Got a flashlight and traced all of the wires but couldn't find anything other that the seat wire and one other sensor (brake, clutch?) but none grounded to the frame.
I don't get anything across the connectors. more
In this diagram ( http://www.lawnsite.com/showthread.p. tch+adjustment ), should I be measuring between #1 and one of the leads. That seems to be the only thing that will give a reading and it's very erratic. [links]
I'm using a digital volt meter set to 200 ohms. My resistance for my leads is .4
"normal" draw is about 4-5 AMPS.
12V/3 OHMS = 4 Amps.
12V/2.4 OHMS = 5 Amps. here
