Lewis, who was racing on a different level, was driving the wheels off the F1 WO5 hybrid, in the process, establishing a lead of 1.2 seconds as early as the second lap. Hamilton was in the zone. The Abu Dhabi air was ripe with anticipation, will Nico get off the line cleanly? Will Lewis challenge for the lead immediately or will he bide his time? Will a lunge for turn 1 cause a pile up that could take out one or two of the championship contenders?

But as far as points concern, all Hamilton needs to do is to follow Nico to finish P2 and comfortably win the championship. Personally I'd doubt he likes it that way. here
